Stella's 6 weeks!

"Hi Everyone, I'm 6 weeks old"
I am beginning to think I am going to start every post with "where has the time gone"... but our little princess had her 6 week birthday yesterday. The past two weeks she's experienced a lot of firsts, of which is the most amazing accomplishment seen above...SMILING in response to Mom/Dad!

Here are a few of her firsts::

Stella's first face time with Daddy.
We've been fortunate that Eric hasn't traveled since she was born but he had delayed the inevitable as long as he could. Being away was probably more hard on Dad than Mom {although I too hated it}. Even though I got minimal sleep and had to pull the mommy and daddy duties, at least I got to see our little princesses face and cuddle with Jack!

First Road Trip

This past weekend we traveled to Green Bay. Eric didn't need to convince me too much when packing up the car to head to green bay that when another little lien comes, this car won't cut it. I am shocked we managed to pack it all in and still have room for Jack to take over shotgun! He did such a good job and was so excited to play in grandma and grandpa's back yard that he threw the car in 3rd gear with his paw and we didn't even know it. Note to self, you go through a lot more gas that way.

First we'll just show one picture of Jack! that sums up the weekend. Tongue out laying on the concrete in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard. He still is worn out!
Now back to Stella's firsts....

She's discovered her toes!
Such a big girl holding her head up. Practicing with Grandpa Jolly and daddy in Green Bay.

Sitting up all on her own with Grandma! Jack looking utterly defeated.

Meeting Great-Grandpa Smits for the first time.

Stella's first Easter!

She's snoozing below with a 31 year old Easter Bunny that Eric got his first Easter!

Stella's first {of many} garage hangouts with Grandpa Jolly!
And sadly, her last "firsts" is growing out of all newborn and some 0-3 month clothes. My absolute favorite outfit is officially too short! She definitely has daddy's long torso. I am going to have to work on the emotions as I pack away her clothes because at the rate she is growing, I am thinking this is going to happen quite often!
