Ho! Ho! Ho!

Stella + Santa had a stare down with the Santa at the Mall... 

then, she saw Santa again at school, this time with his lovely wife Mrs. Claus, and she was still incredibly amused.

9 Months, a speedy crawl + mischief!

Somehow, our little Stel, the tiny baby that used to hiccup all the time after she ate, would flail her arms uncontrollably, loved to snuggle on mommy and daddy, has turned into this beautiful, giggly, curious little girl.  When did this happen?

In her ninth month, those cheeks have gotten bigger, her crawling has gotten faster and her curiosity has increased 1000%.  Out with the days of staying in one place, or crawling within one room and in are the days of crawling immediately to Jackie's doggie bowl in the morning to splash her hands in the water and grab a few of his dog food bites.  She loves to clap for herself constantly, babble and has started to enunciate "da da da", hit the doorstoppers, play with all of her toys, especially her new Elmo from Grandma Lien + remote from Grandpa Jolly, she excels at facetiming and drooling through multiple shirts in one day!

October Fun... Stella's 8 Months!

Stella Susan is 8 months old!  We've had such a fun month this month as she learned how to be such a confident crawler, even venturing in to the kitchen to check out Jack's food dish {not sure how we are going to baby proof that one!}.  She continues to develop such a fun personality - determined, curious, giggly, observant...

We've had so much fun discovering those crispy things called leaves.... and attempting to put them in our mouth {shocking!}

We've brainwashed {I mean... introduced} her to our love of football cheering for the Badgers on Saturdays, and no choice of her daddy's, but the Pack on Sunday's.  I mean, she is the model for her Auntie's company!

Stella is a great eater... when it comes to everything being totally mashed up.  She has ZERO interest in anything with "chunks".  In fact, she makes the funniest faces anytime she puts rice puffs or anything in her mouth.  Cottage Cheese?  No thanks... Shredded Cheese? No thanks... Mashed up Kale+Mangos or Ground Turkey with Sweet Potatoes, YES PLEASE.  Go figure.  If she's anything like her Mom and Dad, that love for cheese will soon come.

And a blog post in October wouldn't be complete without two things... Halloween and pumpkins!  

We ventured out to a pumpkin patch in Maple Grove to pick out our pumpkins... Stella looks clearly amused in the first picture!

And, but of course, HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM OUR LITTLE TURTLE!  Thank you Grandma Lien for making my costume!  It was a hit.

Ear Infection, Pink Eye...and

Yes, apparently it just takes a day home with daddy due to double ear infections, pink eye and a cold to make our lady stop rocking back and forth and scooting backwards, to full on crawling forward!

Stella's 7 Months!

Yes, I am late on posting this...  but how is our sweet, drool nugget 7 months old?  

Still as happy and smiley as ever!  What a busy month its been.  From travel to the cottage, getting baptized, playing with those crinkly leaves outside for her first Fall, eating so many different foods {sweet potatoes, mangoes and pears are still her fav}, imitating sounds, drooling, and more drooling.  Its been a FUN MONTH!

 

We had such a fun month in September... hanging out at the cottage over Labor Day.
